The Bazurto All Stars are at the top of the Champeta music scene in Cartagena Colombia. Champeta is a high energy style of coastal Caribbean music infused with Congolese Soukous that has exploded beyond the borders of Colombia. The Bazurto All Stars have a number of top hits and have won the prestigious Congo de Oro prize for the last two years at the Carnaval de Barranquilla, the 2nd largest carnaval after Rio.
