It is time to introduce our special guests for the June edition of Jaguar.

First up we have our headliner Naomi Duan who is primed to deliver fast, driving techno powered by euphoric synths, raw intensity, and a deep emotional arc. With a background in clinical psychology, she likes to describe her sound as a therapy and ritual that grounds and lifts the listeners. Raised in Beijing, she spent over a decade in classical training on the electronic piano, an early discipline that still informs the precision and emotional depth of her sound. Reconnection to electronic music came to her in 2020 in the underground electronic music scene in Hong Kong, before ultimately refining her artistic identity within New York City’s club scene. This multicultural trajectory has deeply informed her global perspective on music, shaping a sound that moves fluidly across scenes while remaining emotionally precise.

Up next we have Pittsburgh staple, Koopmusik, or Koop for short. Koop is an emerging producer, DJ, and the driving force behind @longturnmusic. Koopmusik draws heavy influences ranging from progressive & organic house to deep tech/minimal, indie dance, & melodic techno yet always balancing melody, emotion, and
groove. Despite the broader range of melodic stylings, one thing for certain is Koopmusik doesn’t veer too far away from something that “thumps”.
