Presented in partnership with Jackworth Ginger Beer and Hellbender Vinyl.
The Hell Club is the musical project of Pittsburgh artist, composer, and producer Mitchell McDermott. Blending indie rock, progressive folk, and ‘60s psychedelia into what he calls “alt hymns for the end times,” the project delivers a textured, soulful sound rooted in raw self-examination, sharp cultural critique, and not-so-quiet rebellion.
This show marks The Hell Club’s first-ever live performance, and a belated hometown celebration of his debut record, God’s Sick Trick.
For this special one-night engagement, he’s assembled an all-star band featuring members of PosterChild, LT Creacher, Ames Harding & the Mirage, and collaborators from the Andre Costello camp.
Pittsburgh duo Vireo opens the night with their intimate, eco-folk sound. Their self-described “golden gloom” blends meticulous DIY experimentation with organic, nature-bound textures. It’s music that finds wonder in handcrafted imperfection.
